Since 2021, the DrupalCon Europe mascot has been traveling across DrupalCamps, DrupalCons, and other community events, bringing Drupal enthusiasts together from all over Europe.

Post your photo on LinkedIn. Make sure your post is public so we can see it. - Tag and Hashtag
Tag DrupalCon Europe on LinkedIn and use the hashtags #DrupalConEdinburgh and #DrupalHamish.
This helps us find your post and keeps the Drupal conversation going across Europe!
By entering the contest, you consent to having your submitted photo featured on DrupalCon Europe’s social media channels and event materials.
A total of four free tickets to DrupalCon Edinburgh 2027 will be awarded across four contest rounds running from October 2026 to September 2027. Each round has its own entry period, and the eligible post with the most likes at the deadline wins a ticket. In the event of a tie, the post with the most comments wins.
Only posts published during the relevant round are eligible. Participants may enter multiple rounds with a new post featuring Hamish, but each person can win only one ticket. Tickets are non-transferable and can only be claimed by the person who published the winning post.
Winners will be contacted directly via LinkedIn and announced on the official DrupalCon channels.
All entries must remain public until the winner is announced so that engagement can be verified.

Here’s how you can help bring the mascot contest to your community:
- Get in Touch – Contact the DrupalCon Europe team at drupal@kuonitumlare.com to arrange Hamish’s visit.
- Showcase Hamish – Set up a visible spot at your venue where attendees can easily find and take pictures with Hamish.
- Promote the Contest – Announce the contest during your event opening or on social media using the hashtags #DrupalHamish and #DrupalConEdinburgh.
- Encourage Participation – Remind attendees to post their photos and tag DrupalCon Europe to enter the contest.
💡 Tip: Hamish isn’t a fan of traveling in boxes! The best way to bring him to your event is to have an accompanying person carry him from one camp to the next - a true way to foster engagement and connection within the Drupal community. If no one is available to transport Hamish personally, shipping can be arranged. Please note that organizers are not responsible for shipping costs.
