Joining an Aircast Session as a Speaker

AirCast (for Keynotes, Panels, Workshops) - held in OnAir via own integrated studio, is a live presentation during which participants can submit questions, comments and even more they can be brought to the main stage.

Join an AirCast Session

The session runs directly on the OnAir platform via AirCast studio and without the use of any other streaming platform (such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.).

  • Before the AirCast session starts, you can “Preview” the session.

  • If there is “Join”- you can access the session. It will be available 30 minutes before the planned starting time.

Once you click on “Join”, you will be redirected to the session page on OnAir. To join the presentation, click on the “Join Green Room” button.

During an AirCast Session

In AirCast sessions, you are going to experience three virtual spaces where you can be allocated:

  • Main Stage – is what participants will see on their screens. All speakers that are there can be seen and heard by everyone.
  • Preview Room – allows you to interact with the presenter on the main stage without being seen on attendee screen, but you can be heard by everyone.
  • Green Room – is a place behind the scene. You cannot be heard nor seen by anyone except from the host and the other speakers of the session.

Be aware:

  • Feeds on the Main Stage - The AirCast session allows us up to have 9 feeds on the main stage. Your camera is taking one feed and sharing a screen takes another feed. You could use the option "Media" to replace your camera feed with your "Media" feed (Video, Presentation, etc). The Host will know in advance the number of feeds that will be used thanks to the short itinerary shared by every Panel & Workshop before November 30th, 2020.
  • Layouts of Feeds – only the host can manage the layout of feeds on the main stage.  There are few preset-up layouts which can be used.
  • Bringing the Participant on Stage – only the host can bring a participant on the main stage. Any participant who raised hand can be brought on the main stage.
  • Tools Menu - along the bottom of the page is the tools menu that provides you access to different options for the current presentation.

On the "Tools Menu", there are several tools that you can use to interact before or during the sessions.

  • Session Information – all information related to the session and live caption* .
  • Live Q&A – you may manage questions posted by attendees.
  • Live Poll – you may poll questions to attendees.
  • Discussion Forum – you may engage in a discussion with attendees.
  • Presenter Chat – you may engage in a discussion with other speakers.
  • Control Room Chat– you may reach Kuoni Staff here to get support.

*Only available for sessions which are going to be held on the main stage. A button to launch the live caption will be available under each session in the session information.
