Networking
"Hallway Track" and "Meet your Peers"
Networking functions scheduled during the event are fun and informal way to connect with other attendees. You will be placed in small groups of up to 10 attendees for a limited time slot. It’s a video chat tool and just like in live networking events, you can talk with other attendees, create connections, and have a great time networking.
During DrupalCon Europe you are going to experience two types of networking sessions:
- "Hallway Track" - You will be assigned randomly to a group of people that are registered for DrupalCon Europe 2020. The system will randomly assign you to a group (up to 10 people) for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, you will be redirected to a new group of attendees. The networking lasts 15 minutes in total.
- "Meet Your Peers" - You will be assigned to a specific group of people, based on your answers which you selected during the registration. It will be based on the Number of Attendance of Drupal Con, on Industry, or your Role in Your Organization.
To attend one of above mention sessions, simply click on “Join” and “Join the conversation “ and you will meet other attendees depend on the Networking session type.
When your networking event wraps up, you will see a countdown timer on the upper right side, and you can join another group if you wish.
Be aware: When joining a networking function, your video and microphone are automatically turned on.
