DrupalCon Barcelona 2020: How users and editors use Drupal to make the open web

Drupal drives digital transformation for organisations worldwide. 1 out of 20 websites you visit daily use Drupal. Users and editors work behind those websites driving the content for the benefit of their target audiences and the organisations they serve. Content management platforms need to be flexible and provide a solid digital experience in order to serve those needs. Drupal is an open source CMS that allows for a super fast time-to-market for features as well as content. One of the largest open source communities in the world gets together at DrupalCon to share insights and push the innovation of the Drupal project. Content editors, strategists, digital marketers, UX practitioners and designers are invited to provide feedback, join discussions, and have firsthand input in “the art of the possible” for Drupal.
At DrupalCon agencies, nonprofits, and enterprises using Drupal come together to advance their businesses giving you the chance to meet more than 1.500 Drupal contributors, influencers, and organizations and see what’s ahead for Drupal. Drupal users from organisations like Tesla, Pfizer and Amnesty International also attend the international conference to share their experiences and meet peers. With more than 130 workshops, sessions, and keynotes on various topics, DrupalCon provides a solid program for everyone working with Drupal.

Meet your fellow marketeers

Developers, UX designers, marketers and other digital professionals make use of Drupal’s flexible, secure, and open platform. Digital experience management is at the heart of Drupal’s added value for many organisations that rely on their CMS to create online revenue. Whether it’s reaching an audience, serving people with information or delivering on business goals, Drupal has many testimonies to show for. DrupalCon provides a stage for exploring the most ambitious and cutting edge ideas with the people who are behind those cases and Drupal itself. You will find both Drupal developers as well as fellow digital marketeers and content editors at DrupalCon, welcoming discussion and exchange of ideas.

Users and editors

DrupalCon’s program contains a diverse set of topics, called tracks. The Users and Editors track is aimed at people using Drupal in service of their organisation’s digital goals. Whether you create content or design an editorial experience, at DrupalCon you are at the forefront to explore Drupal’s capabilities and new features or provide feedback and exchange ideas. The Users and Editors track also provides a voice to the content and marketing perspective, with the goal of making Drupal more user-centric. DrupalCon offers other tracks that cover other key topics including DevOps & Infrastructure, Backend and, Frontend development related topics and Business & Marketing. The Drupal Community and Being Human tracks cover personal growth and ways to create and maintain productive teams. Case studies from organisations in multiple sectors and how they have built ambitious digital experiences using Drupal can be found in each of these tracks.
