Wednesday 9 December: Highlights of the day

Today will be another exciting day with following activities and events we would like to highlight:
Group photo - 10:00 - 10:15 CET
- Visit the PhotoBooth and take your selfie. All images taken will populate a gallery and a mosaic displayed during the Closing Ceremony on Thursday. All selfie should be taken before Wednesday 23:59PM in order to be included in the mosaic. A must do before the end of the conference ! 1, 2, 3 Smile!!!
Keynote speaker - 14:30 - 16h00 CET
- Talk: Driesnote Dries Buytaert Belgium-born Drupal founder Dries Buytaert is a pioneer in the open source web publishing and digital experience platform space. In his traditional Driesnote he will present an update on the project and the development of Drupal. Followed by Dries Q&A 17:15 to 16:55 CET Often one of the most interesting few minutes of DrupalCon, the Dries Q&A gives any attendee the opportunity to ask Dries Buyteart, Project Founder, questions directly.
Women in Drupal
- Let’s connect and spend some time with fellow Women in Drupal! 13h00 - 13h30 CET talk : Empowering the African woman in tech; a She Code Africa Synopsis" Ada Nduka Oyom, Ecosystem Community manager at Google, Founder She Code Africa (@shecodeafrica) and Open Source Community Africa (@oscafrica)
Networking Functions “Meet your peers and hallway track” These Networking functions enable attendees to meet one another in small groups of up to 10 randomly picked or assigned to a specific group of people, for a limited amount of time just as if you were at a live standing cocktail or a coffee break. When the time expires, each attendee is automatically placed in another conversation group. This is great fun!
"Meeting hub" Please also take a moment to wander about in the Meeting Hub. This is a different feature for one to one meetings. It is available all day and sits at the Virtual Attendee Portal. Here participants can connect to the people they wish to video-meet, chat with or send messages to.
