A better Experience for Content Editors

saschaeggi

Session in a nutshell:
In this session we'll have a look at how to setup Drupal in 2020 to deliver an improved experience with a focus on content editors. Which contrib modules will help you achieve that? Not only I'll guide you through the setup of the showcased modules but also providing code snippets and a fully working example for you to kickstart with your next project!

Details:
I will talk about how to setup your Drupal to deliver a better Content Editor Experience. This will include different contrib modules:
- Gin Admin Theme & it's ecosystem
- Entity Reference with Layout
- Paragraphs
- Layouts in Core
- Optional Frontend module rendering in the backend for an even better experience
- Coffee
- Field Groups
- Media Library
- Entity Browser
- IEF (IEF, IEF Table etc.)
- and many more

Also will it include configuration of Drupal, the contrib modules etc. and a fully working Drupal instance at the end. Another aspect will be the Gin admin theme – which is build on the foundation of Claro – and how you can take advantage of ideas we presented at the DrupalCon Amsterdam talk "The Future of the Drupal Admin UI" already today and how this will help you customize the backend more for your brand/customer.
