QA Automation: Removing repetitive tasks while giving real value

We have the challenge to reduce the hours of quality assurance in many Drupal projects, to be able to add more value to the business by investing time in more productive tasks. Therefore, we developed a solution on how to automate steps during the QA process.
This automation is being mainly used for Drupal security updates, core updates and features that affect all sites. We clustered the test automation in two different packages: User stories, JS & SEO test automation and Visual regression & performance test automation. Both differ on tools that are used as well as on frequency of test-runs.
We would like to present you this successful project, that might help you in adjusting your QA processes.
As a showcase, we will use one of our Drupal projects that we are working on for Nestlé. A D8 multisite architecture system, based in Acquia lightning for different 12 sites. The QA automation has been integrated flawlessly into the project structure and in alignment with the Digital Transformation Services department from Nestlé.
