Write code once, run anywhere - Drupal + Flutter

With the release of Drupal 9, we have come closer to our goal of being API-first. Decoupled architecture is becoming increasingly popular as it allows greater flexibility and better designs. But even today, the biggest challenge for any project is having to maintain multiple code bases for web and native apps. This is the problem that flutter aims to solve. With flutter, the same code can run anywhere – web, android, iOS.

In this session we will build a basic flutter app from scratch with Drupal 9 as a content delivery network. In the course of this, several important questions such as why flutter should be used, how to build a secure app and how to adapt code so that it runs seamlessly on any platform will be answered.

At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
1. Build a basic flutter app with Drupal as backend
2. Authenticate flutter app and the Drupal API
3. Run this app on android, iOS and the web
