Join us in Amsterdam to learn & network in person

DrupalCon Amsterdam is approaching — next month! Are you still deciding about going? With the robust program, each day will be full of exciting sessions, social activities and contribution sprints galore! Check out the breadth and scope of our offerings, with insight you won’t want to miss.

The event kicks off with Trainings on the morning of Monday, October 28. Choose from these seven options to further your learning:

Building your first Drupal 8 module - Author Maarten De Block has experience as a developer and founder of a full-service Drupal agency. Not only will he teach you to craft a module, he’ll share best practices and resources for module expansion.
Drupal 8 migration as a process - Three trainers will be on hand to teach how to estimate the migration complexity as accurately as possible, and share success stories.
Component-based development in Drupal 8 with Pattern Lab - Two expert trainers will give you an understanding of how to build and theme site components in a living style guide and integrate them.
Advanced ReactJS development for Drupal 8 - Ashraf Abed, founder of Debug Academy, will explore tools and techniques for dealing with non-trivial scenarios in ReactJS.
Drupal + Gatsby - Suzanne Dergacheva is the co-founder of Evolving Web, which specializes in Drupal. Learn how to create your first Gatsby website, build React components, and display content from your Drupal site in Gatsby.
PHP Code performance profiling and optimization - Three trainers will present, which will include hands-on optimization of Drupal code performance, and writing performance tests with Blackfire.io.
Project management for Drupal projects - Project manager Adriana Mosnoi will help participants understand the planning needed before starting a Drupal project, and all stages following.

Likewise, session topics were selected based on what’s going to resonate best with attendees at DrupalCon Amsterdam. For this conference we had a record number of submissions; there will be so many intriguing, interesting and groundbreaking sessions. We invite you to browse our interactive program, where you can explore details of presentations and click the heart icon to save your favorites! In addition to the sessions and trainings, there are social events at the conference: the Opening Reception, Trivia Night, and Women in Drupal. The community offers events as well: the Splash Awards, the Drupal CEO Dinner, Apres with Acquia and other industry events. These provide opportunities to meet fellow Drupal users and expand your base of industry contacts and Drupal colleagues.
