Scholarship, grant, training proposals open for DrupalCon Dublin
DrupalCon Dublin will be here before you know it! Join us this 26-30 September in one of Europe's major centers for technology. We're looking for bright ideas from our amazing community when it comes to training proposals and other programmign content. While registration isn't open just yet, it's never too early to book your hotel room, make your travel plans, and send in your proposals for training, or to apply for a grants or scholarship. Consider it like an early RSVP!
If you need a little extra help to get to DrupalCon, we 're please to announce that we've opened applications for grants and scholarships. You may be wondering, "what's the difference?" It's actually quite simple:
- Grants are awarded to contributors who are making a significant impact on the project who might otherwise be unable to attend the Con.
- Scholarships are available for people who are key influencers in their local communities, who are active in spreading Drupal knowledge and increasing Drupal adoption where they live.
If either of those sounds like you, send in your application for a grant or scholarship no later than 6 July.
If you're a Drupal guru and want to share your knowledge in a full day of hands-on fun, we hope you'll put forth some proposals for training at DrupalCon. If you are an experienced trainer who's ready to build up your fellow Drupalists' skills, now is the time to propose your training session. Now that Drupal 8 has been out for more than half a year, we're excited to see what innovative training ideas you come up with. As with grants and scholarships, the deadline for submitting your training proposal is 6 July.
Want to submit a session? The call for papers will open before the end of May.
We hope to see you at DrupalCon Dublin this September. Come join us for an amazing and unforgettable experience!
