Best Practices for More Effective Communications

We all communicate, right? Well, yes, but are we doing it effectively?

We're all busy- and constantly bombarded with information throughout our work day. In this sessions, learn best practices to help you communicate in a clearer and more effective manner.

Teams have members spread all over the world, causing more challenges to completing a successful project. In a recent survey of remote teams, 34% said poor communcation was their greatest challenge. In a world where most people would rather text than talk, our focus needs to be put back on face-to-face conversations and making those interactions valuable.

Covering topics such as:

  • body language
  • asking questions (it's not just for toddlers)
  • having a sense of humour
  • being present
  • listening to listen, not to answer

In effective communication, about 7% is the words that we say, the rest is about body language, tone and delivery. Attendees of this session will walk away with valuable ways to improve their communications skills in life and in business, making for more successful teams, and more projects delivered.
