Engineering Engagement: How We Built EventStreamLive in Drupal 8
How do you engineer engagement at large scale events, and give ownership over content? You create a tool that does just that. EventStreamLive loads social media interactions and displays it as a content managed stream at any live event.
In this session we’ll be looking at how we used Drupal 8 to build EventStreamLive and turn it into a viable product. We’ll look at the architecture of the system and how we made it as robust and scalable as possible. We’ll also show where we went wrong, the lessons we learned along the way and what the future holds for the tool.
