I changed Drupal in a month, and so can you!

In the days before Drupal 8 no new features could get into Drupal core between major versions. This meant that we had to wait 5 long years before we could add new features to Drupal itself. No more! New features can be added to Drupal in minor versions with the new release schedule.

This means that new exciting features have already been added to Drupal 8.1 such as the experimental modules Migrate UI and Big Pipe. More exciting features are being planned for 8.2 and will be close to completion by the time of DrupalCon Dublin.

In this session you will be introduced to people just like you who have helped get new features into Drupal in as little as a month.  These people consist of backend developers, front-end designers, and UI experts. They are people who are new to Drupal core development and old timers as well.

This session is for anyone who uses Drupal and would like to get involved in core development.
