When iKOS merged with Inviqa, we immediately had access to a highly skilled team of software engineers that were well versed in Symfony application development. The knowledge that iKOS were a traditional Drupal-centric agency and that Drupal 8 was going to be a different world was key to our decision to join the Inviqa group.

I presented a session at Symfony Live London about the impact Symfony has had on the Drupal 8 developer experience and this session looks at things from the opposite perspective.

Rightly or wrongly, Drupal has a bit of a reputation problem in the wider PHP community. When we joined Inviqa it was like our CEO came home one day with a new sibling for the Symfony team - whether they liked it or not.
