Overcoming Imposter Syndrome

daviedos

Imposter syndrome is a term coined in the 1970s to describe high-achieving individuals who are unable to internalize their achievements.  That means those individuals live in constant fear of being found out as a fraud in what they do.  I think this self-belief is a lot more prevalent than most people would believe.

This talk aims to define what imposter syndrome is, how prevalent it is, as well as steps people can take to address and overcome it.  Steps covered include specific exercises we can take to overcome this, as well as some more general belief analysis that can lend an individual more perspective about themselves.
