Thoughtfulness in Tech

Thoughtfulness can guide decisions in companies, open source communities, and conferences. See how it can be applied to governance, conference organization, project management, marketing, and recruiting. I'll look at examples in the general categories of: people you don't know, subordinates, workmates, yourself. Examples will have goals, decisions, and what is thoughtful about them. And, I'll talk about how using personas can help small teams think about diverse perspectives.

• This session is for anyone. It will include some beginner examples, and some more complex examples.
• Attendees will be able to identify with some situations they may have found themselves in before, they will be able to get validation in how they handled the situation or new ideas for them to try next time.
• Attendees will also get exposed to ideas in diffent contexts that will help them be able to generalize the skill of being thoughtful.
