The unicorns hunter

This session is about the way we do business in web development and why it may be wrong.

Web development is a professional field that has experienced a massive explosion in the last 20 years. Everyone has joined it, for different reasons that we will review here, but I have realised that it is a rather inefficient enterprise. I will share my experience across different countries and business scales, from freelancing to large corporations.

It is told around a story about hunting unicorns that will help everyone to relate to it, and have some fun while reviewing what we do everyday and why we should change it. The story is about two brothers and the businesses they set up when they grow up. One of them becomes an unicorn hunter.

At the very least I expect to facilitate a new perspective about the way we do business and to encourage attendees to challenge their current affairs to find better ways. It is general knowledge applicable to any digital development business.
