Website UI performance 101

I will cover what performance means and what are it's parts.
As we all know how to tune our servers and all, most of the backend optimisations will be just mentioned with pros and cons.
For the the UI performance of a website, we will consider that the HTML is already cached and so we can ignore back-end performance. In the taIk will try to give answers to the following:
- What is the general Drupal 7/8 practice?
- How the rendering process works in the browsers?
- What affects the page rendering mostly?
- What can we do to improve/maintain this in Drupal?
- Wht can we do to improve this on the server?
- How can we measure / track this improvements?
- Discussion / Q&A.
