The Core Conversations Track Focuses on How Core Should Be
Drupal 8 should be just around the corner by September, making it a good time to take a look back and see what worked well and identify how to improve for future cycles.
The Core Conversation track is not about how Drupal Core is now, but how it should be. With such timing, DrupalCon Barcelona Core Conversations are the perfect opportunity for sharing your thoughts and discussing how to move Drupal forward in the future!
Sessions covering learnings from the 8.x cycle are welcome, as well as planning of new features that we should include in Drupal 8.1, 8.2, or Drupal 9. After the adoption of semantic versioning, we are expected to include features into Drupal in shorter cycles, so we would also like to have discussions around how those are determined and how to plan for their development.
But it’s not only about the software; it's also about the community! Sessions covering how to contribute more effectively or how to fund Core Development are more than welcome. Drupal isn't just the professional product, Drupal core, but also about how we as people interact in the process. We are humans after all, right?
Want to be sure that a topic you care about is discussed in the community? Have some ideas to share? We want to hear about. Have a look at our suggested topics, and send us your proposals!
