Help Build the Site Building Track
DrupalCon Barcelona is coming and everybody wonders if it also will bring us the Drupal 8 Release Party! Are you ready for it?
Getting ready for Drupal 8
It's time to start building sites and talking about the current Drupal 8. What can we do right now with it? What are its killer features?
A bunch of live sites are already running with Drupal 8. If your project is using Drupal 8, we want to invite you to share it with us. We would like to know what challenges you faced and what advantages you have found using it.
Drupal 7 of Today
In order to be prepared, we need to know how to build sites with Drupal 7 that can be easily upgraded to Drupal 8. If you have experience on this, then join us at DrupalCon and share your experience.
After so much open collaboration and contribution, Drupal 7 has become a mature technology that offers a broad space of possibilities. We always want to hear new stories of real life solutions to amazing or challenging purposes. There is a module or distribution for that! Inspire us showing by your work and discoveries.
Challenges from the Past, Answers for the Future
Since the development of Drupal 7, the community has worked to improve the CMS user experience. Are editors still being the forgotten users or is the editorial experience better in Drupal 8?
Another goal for Drupal 8 was to improve its flexibility building with layouts and blocks. Since the Layout Initiative was removed from Core, the conversations about “Blocks everywhere” and “Layout all the things” were moved to possible contrib solutions. How does it look now in Drupal 7 and how does it look in Drupal 8?
We want to know about all these things and we are calling Drupal Site Builders to share their knowledge and magic at DrupalCon 2015 in Barcelona.
