Planning for Friends and Family at DrupalCon

As part of our extended Drupal family, many Drupalistas bring their spouse, significant other, friend or children along to DrupalCon. As we know, the Con is always jam-packed with sessions, BoFs and sprints that keep us busy; Barcelona will be no different. After the Drupalers have drained our brains at the Convention Center, we jaunt off to group dinners, sponsor parties or the Sprint Lounge to continue getting our Drupal on.

But what about our companions? They are often excited to get out and explore the gorgeous city where the Con is, and Barcelona is quite a tourist treat! And family-friendly activities are always appreciated by the tag-alongs who are younger (or young at heart).

The local Spanish community is working hard to put together activities for our family and friends that will be both adult and child-friendly, respectively. In an effort to make the itineraries as fun as possible, we want to hear from you. Are you bringing a plus-one to Barcelona? If so, what do they want to do / see? If you're bringing a child or young adult along, what kinds of activities do they enjoy? Could adults and children have activities together or should they be separate?

We want to make sure our Con is a great experience for everyone who comes to Barcelona, so please share your feedback with us!
