Agile multidisciplinary teams inside a lean organization
This is a first person story about how Biko switched from a traditional IT service company into digital business agency based on lean culture.
We now work around multidisciplinary teams with strong expertise in digital business, UX, technology and content with great autonomy and their own project portfolio.
Our projects begin with agile inceptions based on design thinking techniques in order to answer questions like:
What are the goals of the project?
Where is the value?
What are the metrics?
How do we acomplish?
We make a basic definition of what we have to build afterwards and why.
Our agile and multidisciplinary teams do not depend on middle management and solve everyday issues with autonomy.
Collaboration with the rest of the teams in the organization is mandatory in order to deliver the best value possible to clients.
I will also show reporting models, knowledge sharing techniques and processes and other Lean Management practices.
