When you work on a project as a developer you want to know everything there is for the project/tasks in hand. 9/10 there are things not thought out correctly by the designer/ux/account handler, this can occur once the project has begun and you're well under well in active development. The issues we have are many that come with an open source project like Drupal, contrib or core issues that break your site.
This session will go into depth about:
- How to stay above board during a project, from start to finish as a Drupal consultant or developer, and not get stung for something you "promised"
- Reviewing and checking your specification to what contrib modules you have, and checking for any major change issues either API or functions/classes.
- What you need as a developer in order to succeed
- What types of questions to ask
- How to collaborate together with your team
Having learnt this the hard way, and spending many late nights up coding I now live by the above.
