There are thousands of modules on drupal.org. How do you choose the right one for the job at hand?
We'll look at both Drupal7 and Drupal8 because many modules we needed in Drupal7 are baked into core for Drupal8. But as Drupal8 adoption grows, new modules will appear, and Drupal7 modules will be ported to Drupal8. Choosing modules is a critical skill for site builders.
This talk focusses on how to evaluate a module. We'll look at how widely used it is, we'll look at the issue queues, and we'll look to see if there are similar modules that may or may not do the job we need done.
