Media Monitoring, News Aggregation and Semantic Search Services in Drupal

Organisations are drowning in the huge amounts of information and data these days - thereby efficient solutions to aggregate and contextualise content to find the needle in the haystack / to find relevant information that is really needed and relevant is key for success! 

Semantic Web Company (SWC) has integrated their core product PoolParty Semantic Suite into Drupal to create the software tool s0nr webmining that provides solutions out-of-the-box by that are fully integrated into Drupal CMS. In s0nr webmining content streams (from one or more Drupal systems and / or 3rd party sources) can be harvested and are automatically analysed, categorised and annotated as well as indexed. On top of this an easy-to-use Drupal interface is provided including full text search with autocomplete, facetted search, show similar content-feature as well as sentiment analyses of content and trend statistics over time. The tool can be used for powerful solutions for media monitoring, news aggregator services or semantic search applications. 

Martin Kaltenböck of SWC will explain the architecture of s0nr and how it works as well as the seamless Drupal integration and how the Drupal s0nr integration can be customised easily. Furthermore he will show the s0nr demo as well as several real world use cases where s0nr is already used for different use cases. Finally Martin will discuss the future roadmap of s0nr with the audience and looks forward to receiving feedback and ideas for further developments and co-operations.
