Peer Code Reviews: Are they worth it?

We wouldn't dare try to slip a line of code into Drupal the product without peer review, so why is it that we don't use the same rules at work for the websites we deploy? In this session you will learn the pros (and cons) of adopting a peer review system in-house.

This session will be divided into two parts:

1. A Case Study. Including the impact peer code reviews can have on the project, the timelines, and the team.
2. The Git Commands. What you need to actually do with Git to checkout a branch, test the code, and incorporate the work back into the project repository.

This talk will be useful for experienced coders, novice coders, and quality assurance managers. It will also be useful for project managers who are trying to balance speed, and defects. Tips and tricks on how to document the process will be included along with links to sample templates you can use with your own team.
