Screwdriver Set To Achieve Great User Experience
Almost everyone agrees on importance of knowing what features users will love in a product and how to convert visitors to customers. As we don’t have a time machine, and can't see the future yet, product creation is often based on experience, but mostly on assumptions. This can work, but there is also plenty of products that failed because these assumptions turned out to be wrong.
In this session I will show our hand and share how we ensure the understanding of user needs and develop our products using User Centered Design (UCD) approach. We will follow our way from discovery phase of a project till the post launch. We’ll see how to:
- use personas correctly and efficiently,
- define customer journey
- balance between low fidelity solutions and visual design
- conduct user experience research.
We will also have a look at different user experience research methods and their utilizationdepending on goals, context, time and budget constraints.
This session will be presented by Anna Hanchar, User Experience Specialist of Amazee Labs, and is meant for those who closely works with clients, translating their ideas into information architecture, interactions, workflows and visual designs.
