Serving the globe with Drupal

When working in enterprise with Drupal there are usually the requirement of serving the whole globe with it. However, installing a single Drupal site for serving the whole planet or big parts of it can be challenging.

There are multiple options for accomplishing this and we'll go through most of them. We'll focus in detail on creating a distributed fully-functional Drupal via recent MySQL replication features and the help of distributed filesystems.

We'll also look at the long-time experiences and data from an existing globally distributed production installation of Drupal.

This session is a refreshed version of the speak done by the same speaker in DrupalCamp Stockholm 2014. The speaker has been working professionally with Drupal since version 5 and currently focuses on the architectures of challenging Drupal setups.
