This session will cover theorical concepts of the art of building dashboards, data visualizations and we will put them in practice building an universal Drupal module for Content Administrators.
We will cover:
- Building a state-of-the-art visual dashboard, in practice.
- Pitfalls to avoid
- Comparison of Drupal charting modules. (D7 and D8)
- Special attention to d3.js and how it adds the ultimate touch to interactive charting.
- Mobile users, offline mode.
- Extra: A simple nodejs server to deliver data in real time
- Extra: Notifications to our dashboard.
