Drupal 8 is going to change EVERYTHING about how we run projects!
Well, not really, but there are many big changes coming and most of them will make our lives easier. And as project managers, we should know about them.
This talk will cover the main changes between Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 as they relate to managing projects. This includes, but is not limited to:
- CMI = no more features, and how this will improve development workflow
- Usability improvements and how they can be extended
- All the things you don't need to worry about anymore (yes WYSIWYG and embedded images in core!)
- What the contrib landscape looks like for Drupal 8
This session is aimed at PMs who already take an active role in the Drupal side of things, or those who would like to get more involved.
