Why understanding content strategy helps you to build a better website

This session will explore how to build the right website to fit an organisation's content, capacity and communications plan. It will cover:
- language/local market
- how to define target audiences and their content requirements and
- match them to an existing communications plan or
- writing a content strategy where there is no pre-existing plan.
It will also look at how to design a site that accounts for the staff capacity to manage content from IA through content types, views and managing content promotion.
This session will reference a range of Oxfam projects from country to international level and one non-Oxfam start up project.
