As project managers and developers, we both have a common goal in mind - the final product. However, despite sharing a common interest, friction between the two personas always seems to come up. Friction between project managers and developers plays a critical role in the ability to deliver a quality project within scope, budget, and timeline. When the lines of communication deteriorate, morale decreases, and attitudes flare, respect is lost and projects are derailed for even the most talented teams.
