Looking to revamp an outmoded set of 100+ legacy websites, Fairfax County Public Schools turned to Forum One Communications for a solution. Harnessing the power of Drupal 8 and Pantheon's 'Upstream' platform, Forum One built an enterprise system that leveraged the Upstream's ability to propegate code change's to Drupal configuration as well as Drupal core Views, Feeds and Migration modules to syndicated content from FCPS's central website to each school website.  To allow for rapid deployment of new school sites, Forum One designed an install profile that levaraged the Default Content module to scaffold taxonomy terms, nodes, blocks and files that would allow schools to have a premade template built on a common foundation.  Regular updates and improvements continue to be made via the Upstream and deployed downstream.
