Case Study: Docker in a heterogeneous development environment

Docker is all the rage when it comes to containers and certainly seems to be the coolest thing since microservices were contained. What few talks discuss are the difficulties people have faced with Docker, especially in a heterogeneous environment. In this presentation, we'll explore many of those difficulties and explain how they are overcome.

Docker isn't a silver bullet by any means, and it certainly has its warts. For the developers.redhat.com project we've been using Docker for over a year in a mixed development environment of Linux and Mac, then deploying to Linux. Come learn some of the great things, the heartaches and brick walls we came across so you can be better prepared for your use of Docker in your environment!
