Designer vs Developer: Creating a Collaborative Workflow

Designers and developers do not always speak the same language. One cares about the aesthetics, where another cares about functionality and clean, browser-friendly code. They are both passionate about their work, which can lead to a super sucky feeling when they do not see eye-to-eye. 

When developers are not included in the creative design process it can lead to designs that are near impossible to build. It’s important that you find a workflow process that allows for the designer and developer to collaborate in all stages of the process. 

I will discuss how you can create processes and project check-in’s that both designers and developers will enjoy and allow them to work together, instead of against each other.
