2016 was the year that AI became mainstream. From chatbots to virtual assistants, AI is about to reshape the way people engage with technology, and this has profound implications for the web.

In this session, we will explore the integration of Drupal with Google’s Cloud Machine Learning Platform. Through integration of image analysis, translation, speech recognition, and text analysis, we’ll demonstrate how AI can enhance both the end user experiences we build with Drupal, as well as deliver automation efficiencies in the enterprise content management workflow.

Through a series of practical demonstrations, Therefore will present its research and development efforts in this area and make the case for the adoption of machine learning as a part of the future of Drupal.

  • The session will include technical demonstrations but is focused at a broad audience. Technical knowledge of Drupal is not required (a familiarity with content management systems; business and digital strategy is recommended.)
