How (not) to build a product in an agency environment

Building a product based on consulting engagements is a dream that many have and a few that succeeds. We want to closely examine a realistic approach to leverage consulting engagement to benefit product development efforts. This session will focus on a hybrid approach that use client engagements to accelerate product development process. This includes identifying common business requirements, agile iteration and feedback cycle.

Strategy "clone site and offer" doesn’t work. This session will show how to generalize requirements between clients and create scalable Open Source product that should motivate your team and finally realize dream of having own product. No any special skills are required for attending this session.
