The Drupal Console is a suite of tools run from a command line interface (CLI) to generate boilerplate code and interact with a Drupal 8 installation. The main idea behind Drupal Console was to help a developer save time and focus on way more complex problems than worrying about the code practices.

A huge number of contributors have helped Drupal Console be available in different languages to reach bigger audience, link a vast number of developers in the market to connect with the Drupal community and widespread the Drupal 8 usage and practices.

Localization is a big step towards software acceptance. As per the documentation, Drupal Console is available in 10  languages - Catalia, English, Espanol, Portugese, Hindi, Japanese, and and many more.

We are breaking language barriers so that more developers, learners and explorers get their hands on Drupal even though English is not the language they prefer or studied. This will eventually result into the greater market openings in many countries around the world for Drupal companies and Drupalers.

How did we contribute ?

We helped translate Drupal Console software in Indian languages - Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi. Completion details for Hindi is 98% and we will be showing a demo in Hindi language.

How can you contribute ?

We will lead this talk in detail as to how more and more people can come together and contribute, help translate and how to approach the Drupal Console Git admins.
