Migrate with the Maintainers Lab

In this session we will walk you through the process of migrating content to Drupal 8 covering a variety of methods: importing from D6, using generated configuration, and writing your own importers using CSV files as an example. While doing so we will  explain concepts and strategies for approaching migration as well as debugging tips that will make your migration workflow go smoothly.

As time allows, we will get into more advanced topics: explaining overriding the configuration, write your own configuration, writing plugins, and some Q&A on advanced topics that attendees are facing in their day-to-day projects.
