It happens. It's 3AM, and you get a panicked call from your client that their site is a white screen.

Is it a server issue? Is it a code issue? Are you being hacked?? (no.. well probably not)

What do you do? What should you have done? Who you gonna call? (sorry for the 80's movie reference, I can take it out)

This talk will go over some fail safe techniques and best practices for you to be prepared for the worst case scenario including:

  • Knowing the difference between a server issue, a code issue, and a variety of common attacks.
  • Knowing who the point of contacts are for your hosting, project manager and/or development.
  • Keeping your site secure.
  • Setting up a back up schedule.
  • Knowing how your site is monitored (New Relic, XHProf)
