Symfony Cache - PSR-6/16+tags done right

nicolas.grekas

Last December, just one year after PSR-6, the PHP-FIG (PHP Framework Interop Group) published the PSR-16 standard. Both cover the same topic: caching. Their goal is to enable interoperability between caching implementations - a mandatory aspect to improve performance in your applications. At this conference, we will see the benefits of PSR-16, how it compares to PSR-6, we will discuss the various existing cache solutions (D8, Doctrine, Stash, php-cache).

We will dive into the new Symfony 3.3 Cache component, which natively implements both standards, and how its extended tagging support enables very flexible invalidation strategies.
