Many web projects are destined to fail before they begin, hampered by an ineffective “Request for Proposal” process. Often the culmination of months (if not years) of build-up, an organization’s RFP defines the nature of the relationship with the chosen web vendor and how the project will be administered.

This presentation will share the unique perspective of both the buying agency and a bidding vendor, highlighting:

Key mistakes made by buying organizations
Common ineffective process structure
Unintended consequences from those decisions

Trinity University and ImageX will share insights, in a case study format, on the procurement process for two separate but equally successful projects. Audience members will be engaged through a series of Q&A periods and takeaway helpful best practises that can be applied to any organization structure, regardless of procurement rules and processes.
