$#!+ We Say to Our Kids (and How It Improves Our Work)

Karyn
judahferst

While commiserating with one another about a difficult project, colleagues Judah Ferst & Karyn Snyder found that their parental experience had prepared them for difficult conversations in the workplace. Just as parenthood requires patience and empathy, so does collaboration with others. This session provides a light-hearted look at lessons learned from raising children, and application of that experience in the workplace. Learn how to be firm, but kind in professional situations. Hear how those phrases parents utter in exasperation contain pearls of wisdom that can improve nearly any situation.

Attendees need no prior experience as a parent to attend this session, but a sense of humor will enhance the attendees' enjoyment of the presentation.
