Distributed teams are becoming more commonplace. For software developers, this certainly has its advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand it's great to get to work in your pajamas, but on the other hand, it can be hard to work together without having valuable face time.
From one developer to another. In this session, we will discuss how to effectively work as a software developer on a remote team. Understanding how to communicate with each other (especially over different time zones and languages) and use technology and scheduling to facilitate good communication are all critical to successful remote work, especially on a development team.
