Unless you are working with a single stakeholder, politics will be an issue. I will describe key strategies that will help you manage organizational politics and deliver a successful project.
- How to identify the players involved
- Build relationships and adapt your approach based on different types of players
- Build sites whose architecture takes into account the needs of a large organization with multiple interests (eg politics) - we will illustrate this with a real world example.
The aim of this presentation is to outline techniques that have worked for us to effectively deal with client-side politics and deliver a successful project.
