Photo Policy

DrupalCon is an exciting and visually engaging event, and we take pleasure in sharing its vibrant moments with the world through photographs and videos. What truly adds interest to these visuals? The people who make it all come to life! However, we understand that not everyone wishes to be photographed.

During the event, you may notice our staff members or associates capturing pictures and videos. Whenever possible, especially when photographing individuals or small groups, we will seek verbal consent from those featured in the shots. However, in larger settings such as keynotes or the exhibit floor, obtaining everyone's permission may be challenging or unfeasible.

Rest assured, we are committed to respecting the preferences of all attendees. We also encourage attendees to take and share their own photos, provided they adhere to the following guidelines:

  • If you spot someone wearing an orange lanyard, please refrain from photographing them. It's that simple!
  • If an individual requests not to be photographed, please immediately cease photographing them and refrain from attempting to do so again.
  • Photography and video recording should not be carried out in a manner that deliberately conceals the act from those being photographed or recorded.
  • Those capturing photographs and videos must strictly adhere to the event's Code of Conduct.
  • If you find yourself unwillingly photographed, kindly reach out to us at conduct@association.drupal.org with relevant details, and we will take appropriate measures to address the situation. Your comfort and privacy are important to us.
