The goal of this needs assessment is to create a space for open dialogue that can support opportunities for community building for those who identify as Black. Including anyone who identifies as a member of the African diaspora, from any country, multi/bi-racial and/or multinational.

Black in Drupal aims to serve as a forum to exchange ideas and information relevant to the experiences of being black in Drupal. Through this group, we can discuss topics that will help foster a culture of collaboration by providing opportunities to share resources for advancing professional, social and cultural growth.

The first meeting will be held during DrupalCon Pittsburgh 2023. This meeting will focus solely on fellowshipping over lunch and conducting a needs assessment to hear directly from the community if this is something that would be beneficial.

Black In Drupal is an identity based spaced focusing on building community and support
