DevOps exists since 2009 and has since then being used in many good but also bad ways: The idea of DevOps was to focus on engineering culture and bring different teams together, but unfortunately many companies understood it wrong and created DevOps teams with many unhappy team members.

In this lightning talk I'll present how DevOps became a thing, how it hurt engineering teams and how we see Platform Engineering as the future of efficient engineering teams.
