The Annual Pre-DrupalCon Pub-Crawl!

We’re back in Portland and now have the benefit of experience. Two years ago we were freshly back in person and could only do a happy-hour, now it’s back to the crawl! Whether this is your fifteenth DrupalCon or your first, a chance to reconnect or meet people before the conference starts lets you find some conference buddies before everything ramps up is invaluable. The Portland Drupal User Group is excited to invite you to a happy hour at the patio of White Owl Social Club on Tuesday, 7 May, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. White Owl offers a variety of food options and has a full bar available. You can easily access the venue by taking the streetcar (A Loop) from the convention center. DrupalCon Portland Trivia Night

Help us close out another successful DrupalCon with a fun night of Drupal trivia, drinks, and good eats. Competitors and casual players alike are welcome! 

Build your team, compete for prizes, and showcase your Drupal knowledge!

Teams: 

  • Trivia night has space for a maximum of 38 teams, comprised of 3-5 people 
  • Build your team ahead of time or when you arrive! You can show up alone and form a group with others on-site. 
  • Prizes will be available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams and each prize will have a total of 5 items for each team member. 

Content

  • We aim to make sure there is something for everyone! The more diverse your team’s knowledge is, the better your chances will be at winning
  • Questions will cover a range of topics and skills including technical skills, design, community contribution, history and more - just like last year, many questions will include a general trivia knowledge component
  • Question formats might include: visual, multiple choice, short answer, true/false, and yes/no.

General Info:

  • Questions range from common knowledge to highly niche, mostly general trivia with a Drupal spin
  • Tie-breaker questions will be included this year, as needed
  • Bonus points: New Trivia Night member, best team name 
  • The team with the most points as scored by our resident trivia judges will be crowned the winner!
  • Where to find us: #drupalcon-trivia on Drupal community Slack. Use this public channel to form teams or ask our coordinators general info questions.
