Our call for volunteers closed on June 12, 2024 and we will contact all the applicants to let them know if we are able to engage them for their help.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who volunteered!

Track Leads work in the Content Team to review speaker submissions and help curate the content that is delivered as part of DrupalCon Singapore. As a Track Lead, your responsibilities would include:
This is one of the busiest roles at DrupalCon Singapore and also one of the most important. For this role, we're seeking volunteers with previous experience speaking at DrupalCons or similar events who have experience mentoring and helping speakers deliver great content. |

Registration Desk & Swag Packing |
DrupalCon Attendees first interaction with the event is via the kind folks who work the Registration Desk, helping them to pick up their badge, lanyard, and "swag bag". For DrupalCon Singapore, we're placing extra emphasis on the first timer experience and registration desk volunteers will also help these attendees find and connect with their First Timer Group. |

|
Contribution Mentoring |
Contribution Mentors perform an incredibly important role in guiding, encouraging, and supporting code and non-code Drupal contributors on Day 3 of the conference. Mentoring is a DrupalCon institution and this page provides some great information about the role and responsibilities. |

Exhibition Monitor | Sponsors are a critical ingredient in making DrupalCons sustainable, so we want to make sure that they have a good time too! Exhibition Monitors help sponsors find their stands and deliveries, and ensure they have everything they need for a great conference. | 4 hours during the beginning of Day 1 |
|
Trivia Night | DrupalCon Singapore's Trivia Night takes place after the conference closing ceremony, and Trivia Night volunteers help make this event a success by planning the trivia night and questions, handing out forms and judging. | 10 hours in November and December, including on-site at the Trivia Night |
|
Splash Awards Judge |
The Splash Awards recognise the very best Drupal websites from particular regions, and this year we're exciting to bring the Splash Awards to Asia for the first time ever! Splash Awards judges work independently from the organising committee and are responsible for filling out a judging form for all the Splash Awards entry, assigning a score in each 5 weighted categories. For more info on the judging process, you can review the DrupalSouth 2024 judging guidelines, which will be similar to those in effect for DrupalCon Singapore. Judges remain anonymous until the award ceremony. The ideal judge will have experience in more than one discipline related to building and delivering great Drupal sites, such as development, design, project management, content authoring, information architecture, and more. Judges from other Splash Awards in other regions are encouraged to volunteer. |

First Timer Guiders |
We're hoping for lots of first time DrupalCon attendees in Singapore, and we want to make sure they have the best experience possible. To help deliver this, we're creating small First Timer Groups of 3 or 4 attendees paired with a single Guide. The Groups aim to connect people from similar regions, genders, and languages. As a Guide, your responsibilities would include:
We'd like to keep groups flexible and fun, and encourage members to hang with or break away from their group whenever they feel like it so nobody feels pressured to take part while also feeling there's some friendly faces they can turn to if they have some questions or want to hang out. |

After the event, team members are asked to edit and correct photos as necessary to ensure good lighting and clarity, before uploading them to the public DrupalCon Flickr account with a CC BY-ND 4.0 licence. |
